Isis Pettway

Isis Pettway, M.S., LAC, Presenter

Sept. 20, 2023
Noon – 1 p.m.

A calm, creative, and compassionate person who continues to take up space with her personal and professional growth, Isis is a licensed professional counselor serving residents in the state of Arkansas. She received her bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Central Arkansas and her master’s in clinical mental health counseling with an emphasis in play therapy from John Brown University. She’s currently licensed by the Arkansas Board of Counseling Examiners. In her work, Isis desires to continue shattering the stigma around mental health. Her background and training includes working with populations in the inpatient and outpatient setting, non-profit programs, and residential care facilities. She currently works in the UAMS Psychiatric Research Institute with UAMS Health AR ConnectNow.

Isis’ virtual webinar will attempt to break through the stigma relating to veterans and mental health. Specific topics will include resources that are available to veterans and their families, and how to reconnect to your sense of self.

All active duty, veteran, reserve and guard members, and students and family members are invited to attend.
