This monthly Veteran’s Educational virtual Zoom workshop will focus on how the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs can help us navigate the Veterans Affairs system.
After Gina Chandler’s service in the military, she joined the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs (ADVA), in 2008 as a veteran service officer. She is an accredited service officer over 13 service organizations and has handled over 500 cases for veterans and their spouses at the Board of Veterans appeals. In 2015, she was promoted to the Assistant Director of Veterans Services and was responsible for implementing the first District Offices across the state, opening eight offices in two years.
